Neil has been a PGA professional for 20 years, During that time he has coached many of the best players within Yorkshire. Neil has worked for the PGA on many occasions and has attended golf coaching seminars around the world.
He has worked with golf coaches including Denis Pugh, John Jacobs, Tommy Horton, Scott Cranfield and Butch Harmon.
His knowledge of the golf swing is well known by thousands of beginners, club golfers and professionals in the North of England, and his easy to understand manner make for quick learning.
Neil has the most up to date teaching facility here at Shay Grange Golf Centre featuring the ‘Explaner’ teaching aid as used by Butch Harmon, as well as the highly advanced swinganalysis video system G.A.S.P.

Roy began his professional career 19 years ago,and has recently moved to Shay Grange Golf Centre. His most recent role was Director of Golf at Whitefield Golf Club where he quickly established himself as one of the leading teaching professionals in the area, with his no nonsense easy to understand style of teaching.
Roy is a highly experienced teaching professional and has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of teaching the game of golf and this has been reflected in his selection to teach for the PGA at numerous British Open venues as well as the 2002 Ryder Cup at the Belfry
He has taught all levels of golfer from beginners to local county players, including Europro and Challenge tour players as well as fellow professionals.
He prides himself in his ability to make even the most anxious golfer feel relaxed and isn’t happy unless his lessons go away feeling like they have learnt something and are on the road to improvement.
Roy uses the latest in swing analysis software to enhance his lessons and also uses the “Explaner” teaching aid as used by Butch Harmon.
